At Saaj Psychotherapy & Wellness, healing begins with intention, care, and connection. The word Saaj (साज) holds deep meaning across South Asian cultures, signifying harmony, preparation, adornment, and the tuning of an instrument. It reflects the quiet power of aligning with oneself, of returning to balance with purpose and grace. Just as an instrument must be tuned to create music, therapy is a space where we attune to our emotions, thoughts, and values with honesty and compassion.
As a South Asian therapist, I hold space for the complexities of identity, culture, and intergenerational experiences. Vedang holds a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto and is deeply passionate about psychotherapy and social work. With years of experience across community mental health, youth justice, and private practice, he brings both depth and warmth to the therapeutic space.
He creates a space that is culturally responsive, affirming, and grounded in compassion. He believes therapy should feel like a genuine conversation that honours your story while gently guiding you toward clarity, connection, and change.
His approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based modalities like CBT.
